The film has a yellow colour, which gives the film a old, western feel. It also feels authentic and old, as it is filmed on film rather than digital, which is something Tarantino insists on doing.

Django Unchained Film Analysis - Kye
I recently watched Django Unchained. I enjoyed this film. The film is directed by Quentin Tarantino, who has directed films such as Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill.
In this film, a lot of unnatural camera shots are used. I really liked the use of quick sudden zooms, which gives the films a light comic feel. it also draws focus to a particular thing or character. For example, when we first see Leonardo Dicaprio's character the camera quickly zooms into his face drawing focus onto him.
The film has a yellow colour, which gives the film a old, western feel. It also feels authentic and old, as it is filmed on film rather than digital, which is something Tarantino insists on doing.
